FIAT PROFESSIONAL WINS MOST IMPROVED VAN MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR IN FLEET VAN AWARDS

The continuing drive by Fiat Professional - the commercial vehicle arm of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA - to produce top quality, high value vans, has been given a huge boost in the 2009 Fleet Van Awards.

The company has just been presented with the top prize for 'Most Improved Van Manufacturer of the Year' in the influential industry awards, which were announced at a special ceremony today (1 October) at the Lancaster London Hotel, Hyde Park, London.

The competition's panel of judges particularly singled out Fiat Professional's range of vans for its choice of models, and its ability to service the needs of its customers and dealers.

"Fiat Professional has made huge strides forward in terms of fleet support and back-up through its dealer network," says Stephen Briers, editor-in-chief, Fleet Van. "It now has a strong model line-up and an excellent understanding of the needs of fleet operators, and is sure to go from strength to strength."

The Fiat Professional van range comprises Grande Punto Van, Fiorino, Scudo, Ducato and Doblo Cargo.
