The seventh season of the ADAC Formel 4 powered by Abarth is about to end on the Nürburgring circuit. The German series reserved for Tatuus F4 T.014 single-seaters powered by the 160-hp Abarth T-Jet engine – closely derived from the one in the Abarth 595 and 695 – will witness the head-to-head for the 2021 title between Oliver Bearman (GBR – Van Amersfoort Racing) and Tim Tramnitz (GER – US Racing). There are only 23 points between the Briton driving for Van Amersfoort – winner of this year’s Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth – and the German from US Racing, runner-up in the Italian series. In the second part of the season, the home driver has managed to get closer to Bearman one race after another, with four victories in the last three rounds. The last three races of the season will therefore decide whether the title goes for the second time running to a British driver, following in the footsteps of Jonny Edgar (GBR – Van Amersfoort Racing), or to a German driver for the third time, after wins by Marvin Dienst (GER – HTP Junior Team) in the first edition in 2015 and Lirim Zendeli (US Racing) in 2018.

It's not over yet for the team title, with the challenge between the Germans from US Racing – in the lead with 471 points and in search of their third success in the series promoted by ADAC – and the Dutch drivers for Van Amersfoort Racing, the reigning team champion, close behind on 463.

On the Nürburgring circuit, as well as the two contenders for the title there will be several big names attempting to end the season in the best possible way, starting from the teammates Bearman and Tramnitz. Actually, US Racing will line up four cars: for Tramnitz; Vlad Lomko (RUS – US Racing); Luke Browning (GBR – US Racing), currently third in the overall standings; and Alex Dunne (IRL – US Racing), the winner of four of the six rookie races run. Also on the track will be the French R-Ace GP drivers, who will try to replicate their success at Hockenheim with Victor Bernier, and the BWR team, back on track with Taylor Barnard (GBR – BWR Motorsports) after missing the last two rounds.

The schedule for the final round of the seventh season of the ADAC Formel 4 powered by Abarth includes a practice session on Friday, November 5th at 9:45 am, followed by the qualifiers at 1:25 pm. Race 1 will kick off on Saturday, November 6th at 11:15 am, while on Sunday, the two closing races of the season will get the green light at 9:45 am and 2:00 pm.
