Algiers, 10th March 2025 – To provide hundreds of adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds with an opportunity to reconnect with education and access qualified training aligned with market demands, the Nada Network is collaborating with Stellantis Philanthropy for its IDMAJ project. This one-year program aims to integrate and support vulnerable minors by offering them quality training and a structured life plan, including social and financial education.
Stellantis Philanthropy’s support for this initiative reflects its commitment to making a positive and lasting impact in the countries where the company operates.
This program is based on a comprehensive support system combining psychological, social, and professional integration assistance, in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education. Implemented in the Oran province, it targets young people aged 13 to 18, allowing them to access qualified training in IT, mechanics, electronics, automotive electricity, and more, provided by regional training centers.
Every weekend, participants attend social and financial education sessions led by Nada Network trainers. These sessions prepare them to manage a sustainable life project and develop essential skills for their future.
Launched as a pilot project in Oran, IDMAJ serves as a springboard to employment.

With Stellantis, we are restoring hope and facilitating access to training that will provide them with real autonomy. This partnership with the Vocational Training Board of Oran marks a crucial step in strengthening our efforts and responding to the urgent needs of these youngsters" said Abderrahmane Arar, President of the Nada Network.
The IDMAJ initiative adopts a pragmatic approach that ensures a high success rate and strong engagement from young participants throughout their journey. Individualized follow-up facilitates their transition to employment through internship and job opportunities. Particular attention is given to the inclusion of young girls in technological training to promote their access to future-oriented careers.

[EC1]I’m not sure if something was lost in translation. I’m guessing “autonomy” is referring to independence or self-sufficiency for youth who attend this training.
[SD2]Yes . It’s about self sufficiency
[EC3]Could we swap out the current sentence for this sentence: “Believing in the power of education to drive progress and empowerment, Stellantis Philanthropy is dedicated to creating opportunities and spreading hope.”
I think it is more humble and but still conveys the same message.
