Fiat Group Automobiles & PSA Peugeot Citroën Plan To Extend SevelSud Co-operation

Fiat Group Automobiles and PSA Peugeot Citroën have announced that they are planning to extend their successful SevelSud manufacturing joint-venture until 2019. The SevelSud factory in Val Di Sangro, Italy, produces the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper range of LCVs.

Following detailed analysis it has also been jointly agreed by PSA Peugeot Citroën and Fiat Group Automobiles that their SevelNord joint venture, based in Valenciennes, France, will not be renewed after its expiry in 2017 due to changes in each partner's future product strategies. SevelNord currently manufactures the Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy and Fiat Scudo range of light commercial vehicles.
