PEUGEOT still the leader in the consumer sales channel in 2019

In 2019 and for the second year in a row, PEUGEOT will maintain its leadership of the retail channel in France. This performance is due in particular to the excellent results recorded by the new PEUGEOT 208 which, after only three months on the market, is for the second month in a row the leader in the retail channel.

PEUGEOT still the leader in the consumer sales channel in 2019

In 2019, after two years of strong growth, PEUGEOT is consolidating its performance in the context of the renewal of its two models in the B segment: 208 and 2008. In 2019, the brand will have the lion's share of the market:

- Leads the personal market for the second consecutive year
- 0.7 point increase in LCV market share, with the best growth among French brands at +8.7%.

Retains four PEUGEOT vehicles that are leaders in their segments:
- PEUGEOT 3008 in the C-SUV segment, with a market share of 3.3%.
- PEUGEOT 308 in the compact sedan segment, with a market share of 2.5%.
- New PEUGEOT 508 in the D segment with a market share of 0.7%.
- PEUGEOT Rifter in segment C of Ludospaces, with a market share of 0.6%.

Keeps two PEUGEOT vehicles in the top five best-selling passenger cars in France :
- The PEUGEOT 208 occupies 2nd place with a market share of 4.5%.
- The PEUGEOT 3008 is in 4th place with a market share of 3.3%.

Over the year 2019 in France :
In a PC market up 1.9%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 17.1%.
In a LCV market up 4.5%, PEUGEOT grew by 8.7% with a market share of 17.8%.
In a PC+LCV market up 2.3%, PEUGEOT had a market share of 17.3%.

These results are particularly promising as the new PEUGEOT 208 is rapidly gaining momentum on the eve of the launch of the new PEUGEOT 2008 SUV.
