PEUGEOT leader of the passenger car market at the end of May in France
Over the first five months of 2021, PEUGEOT retains first place in the scope of passenger vehicles with a market share of 18.5%. This performance continues to be driven by the success of the PEUGEOT 2008 and PEUGEOT 208, which remains the best-selling vehicle in France. The other vehicles in the range: PEUGEOT 3008, PEUGEOT 5008 and PEUGEOT 508 are leaders in their segment. PEUGEOT is also the leader in sales to individuals and businesses.
Total of the five months 2021:
• PEUGEOT has two vehicles in the top five of the best-selling private vehicles in France: ?The PEUGEOT 208 leads with a market share of 5.5%
?The PEUGEOT 2008 retains third place with a market share of 4.6%
• Five vehicles are leaders in their segment: ?The PEUGEOT 208 in the B segment with a market share of 5.5%
?The PEUGEOT 2008 in the B-SUV segment with a market share of 4.6%
?The PEUGEOT 3008 in the C-SUV segment with a market share of 3.5%
?The PEUGEOT 5008 in the 7-seater C-SUV segment with a market share of 1.5%
?The PEUGEOT 508 in the D segment with a market share of 0.5%
In a passenger car market up 50.1%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 18.5%
In an LCV market up 59.3%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 18.4%
In a passenger car + LCV market up 52%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 18.5%.
