During its first appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, PEUGEOT will present the world premiere of its PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT.

From 27 February to 2 March 2017, visitors to the PEUGEOT stand at the Mobile World Congress can experience the world premiere of the manufacturer's autonomous connected vehicle demonstration: the PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT.

During its first appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, PEUGEOT will present the world premiere of its PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT.

Designed in collaboration with SAMSUNG ARTIK™ Cloud, the 150m² stand reveals how PEUGEOT plans to use technology such as virtual reality and the Internet of Things to revolutionise the driver experience and brand experience for current and potential customers. Two main areas allow visitors to experience the brand's products:
- The world premiere of the PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT offers a brand demonstration that takes full advantage of device connectivity, giving new meaning to autonomous driving through new possibilities offered by the SAMSUNG ARTIK™ Cloud IoT (Internet of Things) platform.
- The PEUGEOT AMPLIFIED EXPERIENCE zone makes use of Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headsets to show visitors the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® and driver assistance features available in the latest models of the brand. PEUGEOT is the world's first car manufacturer to massively roll out this technology throughout its entire network, offering customers a unique experience.

PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT integrates connected objects and services swiftly and effortlessly, offering drivers greater freedom and passengers a satisfying experience that matches their pace of life. PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT relies on deep learning, a machine learning concept that defines user profiles. The SAMSUNG ARTIK™ Cloud IoT platform pairs with various daily services and devices, aggregating data from multiple sources, including smart watches, smartphones, social networks, and a user's home automation system.
PEUGEOT and the data science company Sentiance process the data to extract pertinent information and define user profiles. This dynamic analysis is continually improved, allowing PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT to preconfigure or adapt its architecture to meet the every need of users. The PEUGEOT INSTINCT CONCEPT embodies the unshakeable connection between the brand and the idea of taking pleasure in driving a PEUGEOT autonomous car.

The PEUGEOT AMPLIFIED EXPERIENCE zone offers visitors this unique experience first-hand. It is available in 1,700 points of sale in 11 European countries and will soon be deployed in Asia and South America. A true first for the automobile industry, virtual reality will let customers go behind the wheel in the showroom! Visitors can try out connected 3D navigation and the many driving assistance features available during a technological and impactful demonstration using a Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headset, as if they were at a point of sale. Eight interactive experiences are available to illustrate the Advanced Grip Control, Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC), Active Safety Brake, Distance Alert and the Active Lane Departure Warning features. All of the driving assistance features present in the brand's latest models constitute a new step towards achieving vehicle autonomy by 2020.

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the largest trade show for the mobile phone industry and is organised each year by the GSM Association, whose members include 250 manufacturers and 850 mobile phone operators. 100,000 visitors are expected for the 2017 edition, which will take place from 27 February to 2 March in Barcelona.
