PEUGEOT France is renewing the PEUGEOT DIRECT system from 26 January 2021 due to the promising results of this operation which took place during the confinement from November 2021 to 20 December 2020. The customer's journey is entirely digitised: a Peugeot expert accompanies his customer by videoconference, from the discovery of the vehicle to the signing of the order.

Portuguese consumers started 2021 by once again selecting the PEUGEOT brand as the "No. 1 Brand, Consumer Choice". This is the 8th consecutive year that the brand has received this recognition, surpassing 10 of its competitors in the generalist brand segment. This distinction comes as PEUGEOT Portugal closes 2020 with 21,494 units sold and a market share of 12.4%. It is the only car brand in the Portuguese market to have increased its market share for 11 consecutive years. In 2020, three models awarded "Car of the Year" were all simultaneously available in the Portuguese range: the new PEUGEOT 208 and e-208 (chosen in 2020), the PEUGEOT 3008 (chosen in 2017) and the PEUGEOT 308 (chosen in 2014).

At the AUTOMOBILES AWARDS digital ceremony held on 7 December 2020 in Paris, the new PEUGEOT 3008 received the "Car of the Year 2020" prize awarded by the public, the PEUGEOT e-Expert received the jury's special prize and the PEUGEOT brand was named "Brand of the Year" by the managing directors of the thirty-nine participating brands.

The PEUGEOT 5008 has been chosen by the Ministry of the Interior as a reference vehicle for the French police and gendarmerie. The specifications defined the willingness to equip the police forces with a vehicle of the highest level of performance and made in France. At the end of the selection process, the services of the Ministry of the Interior placed an order for 1,263 PEUGEOT 5008s manufactured in Sochaux and Rennes. These vehicles will be converted at the PSA Group site in Poissy.

The Trophies of the magazine l'Automobile et l'Entreprise took place in Paris on October 20, 2020 and rewarded two PEUGEOT vehicles: the PEUGEOT 208 in the "electrified sedan" category and the PEUGEOT 2008 in the "thermal SUV" category. The PEUGEOT brand won first prize in the "Coup de Coeur constructeur" category. Hugues de Laage, Director of PSA Corporate Sales France received all the awards.

In addition, the PEUGEOT network offers each customer wishing to purchase a new vehicle in France other financing solutions and additional services such as extended warranties or vehicle maintenance. The financing and services distributed by the PEUGEOT network should enable each customer to find an all-inclusive solution adapted to his or her needs.

The PEUGEOT LEGEND team finished the 2019 Tour Auto after a journey of more than 2200 kilometres. The PEUGEOT 504 and 204 coupés experienced incredible moments and arrived in Deauville. The two old-time cats, led respectively by the crews Etienne Bruet/Maëva Coucke and Mathieu Sentis/Gilles Vidal, finished 4th in the Regularity H/I category for the PEUGEOT 504 coupé and 5th for the PEUGEOT 204 coupé in category G.

On March 28, 2019, Vaimalama Chaves took delivery of its new PEUGEOT 2008 pearly white at the PEUGEOT Bordeaux le Bouscat concession. David Sautron, head of the subsidiary, also presented Miss France 2019 with an orange PEUGEOT eLC01 electric-assisted bicycle and a Cherry Red Satin 50cc PEUGEOT Django 50cc.

This electrification of the brand is also driven by an iconic lion that will be electrified at the next Geneva Motor Show.

The 44th Rétromobile show will be held at Porte de Versailles in Paris from 6 to 10 February 2019. The 120,000 visitors expected over the five days will be able to admire the PEUGEOT e-LEGEND Concept, an all-electric, autonomous and connected vehicle by the Lion brand. The star of last year's Paris Motor Show will be on show alongside the PEUGEOT VLV, the brand’s first electric vehicle. The stand will also feature the PEUGEOT 201 Torpedo and PEUGEOT 304, celebrating their 90th and 50th birthdays respectively. The PEUGEOT 604 TI and the PEUGEOT 204 Coupé competing in the 2019 Tour Auto round out the sextet.

Six years after the launch of the PEUGEOT 2008 SUV, one of the brand’s top sellers, the PSA Group’s Mulhouse plant has produced the one-millionth model. Jean-Philippe Imparato, Chief Executive Officer of the PEUGEOT brand, presented the keys of the one-millionth PEUGEOT 2008 to Ms. C. Jung on Wednesday 9 January 2019.
