Stellantis Motorsport Announces Maserati's Commitment to the Gen 4 Era of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship

The motorsport division of the Stellantis group has announced that Maserati will continue its participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship starting from Season 13 (2026/2027), which will feature the debut of the 4th generation electric single-seater race cars.

By making this decision, the Modena-based automaker highlights the key role of the electric series in facilitating the tangible transfer of technology from the track to road vehicles.

Stellantis Motorsport also stated that the conditions for the involvement of other brands within the group will be determined at a later date.

For over 10 years, we have been developing high-efficiency powertrains for DS and Maserati, and will continue to work on these road-relevant technologies in as competitive and promising a championship as Formula E. The conditions of engagement of other Stellantis Brands will be specified later”.
