NEW DS 5 VOTED BEST PRODUCTION CAR AT GENEVA MOTOR SHOW BY AUTO PLUS AND RTL

Following the Divine DS concept car’s “Best Concept Car” prize at the Paris Motor Show in September 2014, the New DS 5 has won an award at the Geneva Motor Show.

Making its world debut in Geneva, the New DS 5, the flagship of the DS Brand, was singled out as “Best Production Car in Show” by Auto Plusmagazine and RTL radio, two key french médias.

The award was based on the votes of the readers and listeners of the two media, after a two-week voting period in which they were able to choose their favourite model. Near forty cars were in the running in four categories – production car, green car, concept car and the favourite car of children.

The New DS 5 was the overwhelming winner, selected by 30 % voters of its category, among 14 competitors.

These voters were won over by the DS 5’s avant-garde styling – and notably its vertical and sculptural grille – along with its refinement, meticulous detailing and high-tech technologies, including the DS LED Vision technology headlights and cockpit-style driver’s station with a 7-inch touchscreen.
