APPOINTMENTS: VALÉRIE PONCE IS APPOINTED DS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR IN FRANCE. THOMAS DAGOMMER TAKES OVER AS CITROËN AND DS MARKETING DIRECTOR,

On 1 December 2014, Valérie Ponce was appointed development director for the DS brand in France. This new position was created to accelerate the nationwide development of DS as a brand. Thomas Dagommer replaces her as marketing director of CITROËN and DS France. They will both report to Philippe Narbeburu, Sales Director France, for CITROËN and DS.

Valérie Ponce holds a master’s degree in applied foreign languages and a post-graduate diploma in international business. After joining the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group in 1989, she moved to Citroën Products and Markets in 1998 as market manager and then product manager. In 2003, she was named product project manager for the new C5 project through to vehicle launch in 2008. She was then appointed director of advertising and media for France, before becoming marketing director for CITROËN and DS in France in 2011.

Thomas Dagommer holds an engineering degree from ESTACA and a diploma in automotive network management from the ESSCA business school. He joined CITROËN in 2002 as head of onboard documentation in the Advertising department before becoming a market manager at CITROËN Products and Markets. He then moved to Market Area, France as product manager. In 2010, he was named head of the pricing, products and launch department for CITROËN and DS in France.
