On January 11, the Mexican capital will welcome the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the ninth time in the history of the series. Taking place on a shortened version of the celebrated Hermanos Rodriguez race circuit, the second round of Season 11 will welcome 11 teams – each more motivated than the other – to star in front of a famously passionate crowd of motorsport fans.
Thanks to the DS E-TENSE FE25 developed by the competition division of DS Automobiles, which showed plenty of potential at the first round, the DS PENSKE team counts on getting in among the race leaders and scoring some more points.
To achieve this, the French-American squad can rely on the talents of its two drivers, Jean-Eric Vergne and Maximilian Günther.
The race will take place at 21:00 CET (which is14:00 local time).
Eugenio Franzetti, DS Performance Director:
“After a frustrating race in Sao Paulo where we could have come away with some very good results thanks to the performance of our DS E-TENSE FE25 both in qualifying and the race, we’re more determined than ever to demonstrate the know-how of our entire team this weekend. Mexico is always a wonderful place to be and we can’t wait to see how we shape up against the other teams, in front of thousands of excited race fans!”
Key figures since DS Automobiles entered Formula E:
- 122 races
- 4 championship titles
- 16 victories
- 51 podiums
- 24 pole positions
