The final round of season six of the 2019/2020 ABB FIA Formula E championship took place today at the Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. The DS TECHEETAH drivers started at the back of the grid together with the rest of the drivers from Group 1 as today saw the track evolution increase dramatically for the later qualifying groups. Starting in P21 Jean-Éric Verne climbed 14 places to finish P7 scoring 6 points, with team-mate Antonio Felix Da Costa climbing 10 places from P19 to P9. The points today secured Jean-Éric third position in the Drivers’ Championship. DS TECHEETAH has now won two double titles in a row.

Season 6 Teams’ and Drivers’ Champions DS TECHEETAH’s winning streak came to an end today at the Tempelhof Airport at the 10th round of the ABB FIA Formula E championship. After starting at the back of the grid after failing to qualify within the set time, both drivers worked their way up the field only to finish in the back after Jean-Éric Vergne picked up a drive through penalty and Antonio Felix Da Costa had a car failure.

Round nine saw the reigning champions DS TECHEETAH secure the double by winning the Teams’ and Driver’s title today at Tempelhof for the second time in a row. A big team effort saw Antonio Felix Da Costa become the 2019/2020 ABB FIA Formula E Champion and Jean-Éric win the race. At 236 points and 115 points lead, and 156 points and 76 points lead respectively, DS TECHEETAH and Antonio Felix Da Costa managed to secure both championships with two rounds left on the calendar. Jean-Éric Vergne is now the runner up position for the final two races that take place on 12 and 13 August

Round eight of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship and the third round of the season six race showdown finale saw Jean-Éric Vergne back on the podium in third position after starting from pole. Team-mate Antonio Felix Da Costa finished behind him in fourth. By securing the fourth position today, Antonio maintains his lead with 68pts and now sits at 137 points, whilst DS TECHEETAH increased its lead with both drivers in the highpoints to now have 70 points lead at 188 points in the standings. Tomorrow is the fourth race of the six race showdown finale and Antonio has the chance to secure the Drivers’ title.

Antonio Felix Da Costa dominated the second round of the Season Six Finale after his second pole to victory finish in two days during the most intense finale in motorsport history. It was smooth sailing from start to finish for Antonio today after starting on pole, having a great start of the race and keeping his cool throughout. Team-mate Jean-Éric didn’t have the same fortunes as he struggled with performance. The ABB FIA Formula E championship goes on a one day break before we are back racing on Saturday 8 August, Sunday 9 August ahead of the two final days on 12 and 13 August respectively.

An incredibly thrilling end to the first Berlin E-Prix saw Antonio Felix Da Costa lead from pole position all the way to the chequered flag to extend his lead with a maximum point score of 30 points in the first race of most intense finale in motorsport history.

From Wednesday 5 August until 13 August, DS Automobiles and its partner TECHEETAH will be back in the Formula E Championship with 6 races held behind closed doors at the Berlin-Tempelholf track. Complying with a very strict health protocol, the PSA Group's premium brand will be lining up its two DS E-TENSE FE20s with the aim of once again winning the driver and team titles.

DS TECHEETAH took their first double podium today under the Moroccan sun seeing Antonio Felix da Costa claim his first win with the team and his third career win in the championship and team-mate Jean-Éric Vergne in third. This put DS TECHEETAH and Antonio on top of the standings at the chequered flag.

Reigning champions DS TECHEETAH continued their streak of podiums in today’s Mexico City E-Prix which saw Portuguese driver, Antonio Felix Da Costa, secure his second consecutive podium. Team-mate and reigning double-champion Jean-Éric Vergne finished fourth as the chequered flag fell on the Foro Sol.

In scorching heat at today’s Antofagasta Minerals Santiago E-Prix, new DS TECHEETAH driver, Antonio Felix Da Costa secured his first podium and second place for the team. Moving through the pack from P10 on the grid with some stellar race moves saw the Portuguese driver lead the race until the very final lap when he had to slow down to cool the temperature in the car to be able to finish the race. Team-mate Jean-Éric Vergne started P11 on the grid and had another unfortunate race having had to retire his car due to damage on his front wing whilst in a podium position.

DS TECHEETAH had another tough day in Diriyah, with a podium in sight for Antonio Felix Da Costa before a drive through penalty saw him finish in P10. Team-mate Jean-Éric Vergne had to change his battery following a crash earlier in the morning, forcing him to start at the back of the grid, he eventually finished P8.

The season didn’t commence quite as well as expected for reigning championship team DS TECHEETAH, with Jean-Éric Vergne being forced to retire due to a mechanical failure and Antonio Felix Da Costa finishing outside the points in P14.
