  • Italian coachbuilder Caselani joined forces with Citroën’s design team to metamorphose the Citroën Berlingo into a 2CV van.

 

  • Revisiting the style of the 2CV type AU, this conversion is a nod to one of the Brand’s iconic models – one that left its mark on generations.

 

  • On a vintage-style body kit mounted on the model’s exterior, the conversion features generous rounded front-end panel, imposing flared M-shaped grille proudly sporting Citroën's chevrons, large round headlights, corrugated sheeting on the sides, rear and roof sections.

 

  • The Berlingo 2CV Fourgonnette is being marketed by Caselani, officially licensed by Citroën. An “M” sized (4.40 m) commercial vehicle will be available for professionals, and then a leisure version will also be produced for carrying people. All engine types will be proposed, including electric.

 

  • Order will start on 1 October, with production slated to begin in January 2023.

  • After a month of intensive use of Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen, SUEZ highlighted its qualities in terms of vehicle usage time optimization, versatility of use and speed of recharging, while using a clean a source of energy.

 

  • Thanks to this efficient fuel cell integration, ë-Jumpy Hydrogen preserves its cutting-edge useful volume and payload.

  • This encouraging first feedback from SUEZ demonstrates Citroën’s ability to innovate and take into account energy transition and transport decarbonization challenges by offering vehicles tailored to different uses, from My Ami Cargo to ë-Jumper.

  • The development of fuel cell technology is now taking on another dimension at CITROËN as the first ë-Jumpy Hydrogen comes off the assembly line.

 

  • With a range of over 400km* and a tank charging time of just three minutes, the battery and fuel cell technology will meet the needs of customers embarking on long journeys or long rounds, as well as customers whose activity requires rapid charging in order to maximize the use of their vehicle.

 

  • This first ë-Jumpy Hydrogen is on its way to a priviliged customer, the SUEZ Group, which is preparing to carry out full-scale testing of the model at its Carcassonne site, a pilot site where Suez is investing in green hydrogen production – set to become a key issue over the coming years.

 

  • CITROËN is thereby expanding its array of electrified utility solutions in order to adapt to the abundance of professional uses and offer the most comprehensive range on the market, from My Ami Cargo to ë-Jumper.

Combining batteries with a hydrogen fuel cell, Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen provides greater range in electric mode with no compromises on the vehicle’s abilities. With a range of more than 400 km and hydrogen refuelling in less than three minutes, Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen is the forerunner of tomorrow’s electric light commercial vehicle. Citroën’s entire light commercial vehicle (LCV) range will be electrified by 2021, with ë-Jumpy already on the road and My Ami Cargo, ë-Berlingo Van, ë-Jumpy Hydrogen and ë-Jumper due to arrive in the second half of the year. Citroën is thus demonstrating its ability to offer modern, technological and affordable solutions to meet the many uses and mobility needs of customers.
