  • As an answer to the success of the first version, a new limited edition of “My Ami Buggy” will go on sale at the end of the first quarter of 2023 in several countries where Ami is marketed.

 

  • The global deployment of "My Ami Buggy" is evidence of just how successful Ami is. Thanks to the concept underpinning it and its accessibility, this electric vehicle has revolutionised local mobility: 30,000 units have already been sold in nine countries since its launch at the end of 2020.

 

  • Commercial roll-out of Ami is continuing – it is expected to go on sale in 2023 in Switzerland and Malta as well as in France’s overseas departments. The preceding list is not exhaustive as other countries are about to join them.

 

  • Slight changes were made to Ami's battery last October, so that it now operates more effectively in cold weather conditions. This has improved the customer experience and opened up new prospects for other destinations.

Because everyone these days is concerned with making the most of their time, Citroën, driven by its Inspired by You signature, is launching CITROËN Service 24/7. An innovative service which allows the customer to drop off and collect their car at the dealership 24/7 using a completely secure self-service kiosk. Already trialled successfully in Massy and in Marseille (France), this pioneering system will be deployed across 50 sites in Europe during the 1st half of 2020. Citroën is undergoing a complete transformation: not only is the brand revamping its vehicle range but it is overhauling the entire customer experience it offers, beginning with its showrooms. That is how “La Maison Citroën” came about. This new urban retail concept was unveiled in Paris and is now being introduced worldwide (in China, Latin America, etc.). Thirty such outlets are due to open their doors by the end of 2018. In line with this concept, the brand’s dealerships are being modernised too, with new interior designs to be introduced throughout the global network by 2019. As part of this metamorphosis, Citroën is currently working on opening a new flagship store, following the permanent closure of its Champs-Elysées store, C_42, at the end of the year. These initiatives all share the ambitious purpose of rewriting the rulebook that governs conventional retail in the automotive industry and offering a warm, homely experience that lures new customers.

Citroën is setting up its urban dealership concept, "La Maison Citroën", for an initial test in Paris, on 39 rue Saint-Didier in the 16th arrondissement. An architectural expression of the concept presented on Citroën's stands at the latest motor shows, La Maison Citroën perfectly embodies the Brand's "Be different, feel good" claim. In an intimate 150 m2 space that breaks with the cues of conventional automotive retail, visitors enjoy an experience blending the physical and the digital, emphatically situating the new dealership concept in the "phygital" era. Visitors to the Citroën stand at the Paris Motor Show were able to take a first look at “La Maison Citroën”, a colourful, interactive, enjoyable concept with a friendly ambience. The cocoon-like design, focusing on differentiation and comfort, heralds the architectural concept to be applied to future brand dealerships. Based on the “Be Different, Feel Good” customer experience, this attractive design that will be adapted to dealerships and new sales outlets in city centres as well as pop-up structures. This innovation has been hailed by the French Institute of Design, which has awarded Citroën the “Janus du Commerce 2016,” a label of excellence.
