Leapmotor C10 REEV arrives in Australia with an impressive 1,150km combined range

Leapmotor Australia is excited to introduce the company’s newest REEV (Range Extender Electric Vehicle) technology for the first time in Australia with the Leapmotor C10 REEV.

Arriving in March, this innovative technology combines the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs) and traditional fuel cars, offering a hybrid solution that allows drivers a range up to 1,150km according to New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) testing. This hybrid solution provides the flexibility Australian drivers need while still reducing fuel consumption, with introductory drive-away pricing from $45,900 for customers who purchase and take delivery before June 30, 2025.

The Leapmotor C10 REEV will launch with the same two generously equipped variants as the BEV, Style and Design. The Style variant featuring striking 18-inch black double five-spoke wheels, immersive 14.6" high-definition central display, 17 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) features including a 360-degree camera and over-the-air update capability. The Design variant adds to the luxury with larger 20-inch trident sporty wheels, multi-colour interior ambient lighting, and heated steering wheel and front seating.

Innovative REEV Capabilities

The Leapmotor C10 REEV is equipped with a 158kW electric motor and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. The 28.4 kWh battery allows for an electric range of up to 170km (NEDC) and a combined range of up to 1,150km (NEDC). With a combined fuel consumption of only 0.9L/100km and C02 emissions of 21 g/km, the Leapmotor C10 REEV significantly reduces fuel consumption, especially in comparison to traditional fuel cars, making the Leapmotor C10 REEV a savvy and versatile option for consumers.

The Leapmotor C10 REEV operates primarily as an electric vehicle, with the electric motor driving the wheels. When the battery charge gets low, the internal combustion engine (ICE) ignites to generate electricity, recharging the battery and extending the driving range. This allows the Leapmotor C10 REEV to offer the smooth, quiet, responsive driving experience of an electric vehicle, while also providing consumers the flexibility of a traditional engine for longer trips.

The Leapmotor C10 REEV also allows for both AC and DC fast charging, meaning considerable range can be added in a short time. With DC fast charging, the vehicle can charge 30-80% in approximately 18 minutes.

Smart and Spacious Interior

The Leapmotor C10 REEV again delivers on Leapmotor C10’s DNA of innovative and intuitive features combining with cutting-edge technology and natural aesthetics, allowing the driver a dynamic and refined driving experience.

The Leapmotor C10 REEV offers ample space with 546L of cargo volume, expanding to 1,375L with folded second-row seats, plus 26 storage compartments and 180-degree flat-fold seating. The interior features a hollow front armrest box with concealed USB ports and wireless charging, while the Design trim’s OEKO-TEX® silicone leather seats ensure safety and comfort. 

The Smart Digital Cockpit includes a 14.6” HD infotainment system, a 10.25” driver display, steering wheel five-way scroll buttons, and dual-zone voice recognition. Available intelligent ambient lighting syncs with the 12-speaker surround sound system, delivering 7.1-channel audio with 840W output and four listening modes. 

The Leapmotor C10 REEV connects via the Leapmotor app, offering a Bluetooth® key, real-time location tracking, and remote air-conditioning. Embedded 4G enables apps like Spotify and Zoom without a smartphone. The NFC-enabled keycard allows seamless vehicle access via the driver’s side mirror.

Safety Features

Safety is paramount in the Leapmotor C10; it is constructed with a high-strength, cage-like frame capable of withstanding up to 9 tonnes of crushing force and features pre-tensioning seat belts and seven airbags.

The all-new Leapmotor C10 REEV features the LEAP Pilot Intelligent Driver Assistance System with 12 high-precision ADAS sensors and 17 ADAS functions:

Roadside assist:

The Leapmotor C10 REEV comes with 8 years Roadside Assist from the date of first registration. The Leapmotor Care Roadside Assist is nationwide and includes towing services and 24/7 support.

Capped Price Service

The Leapmotor C10 REEV comes with up to 8 years of Capped Price Servicing from the first date of registration. Full details are outlined on the website which follow a 12 month/20,000kms schedule on Leapmotor C10 BEV & 12 months/10,000kms on C10 REEV, whichever occurs first.
