Redesigned Fiesty and Agile New PEUGEOT 2008 Now Launched in Vietnam

(Ho Chi Minh City, January 15, 2025) – Thaco Auto, the official distributor for the PEUGEOT brand in Vietnam today introduced the new PEUGEOT 2008 with upgraded design. Taking a step forward in its design, the new 2008 exudes more Allure with its new PEUGEOT light signature and PEUGEOT emblem. The New PEUGEOT 2008 joins the PEUGEOT 408, PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008 SUVs, and the PEUGEOT Traveller MPV.

2025: Defining the New Era of PEUGEOT In 2025, PEUGEOT will continue to honor its core brand values while evolving and completing its latest generation line-up. With the theme “Defining the New Era” PEUGEOT introduces modern vehicles with unified identity, design, and technology.

Following the success of the next-generation PEUGEOT 408, Thaco Auto officially launched the New PEUGEOT 2008 on January 10, 2025, alongside upgraded versions of the PEUGEOT 3008 and PEUGEOT 5008. This trio of European SUVs, featuring PEUGEOT’s new logo, completes the latest generation line-up, emphasizing quality and bold innovation in PEUGEOT’s product strategy for the Vietnamese market.

NEW PEUGEOT 2008: An Assertive SUV Design for Even Stronger Personality The New PEUGEOT 2008 seamlessly blends power, innovation, and alluring aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for urban mobility. It combines agility and elegance with its strengthened technological and feline identity.

Boasting numerous design and technological advantages, the PEUGEOT 2008 has been a best-seller in the B-segment SUV market in Europe for over three years, since it was first introduced in 2019.

The New PEUGEOT 2008 launched in Vietnam today features several significant upgrades, including:

● New LED headlights with a redesigned look and 3-claw signature daytime lights, evolving from the single claw seen on earlier PEUGEOT models.

● A sculpted hood with bold lines and a large, black 3D grille for a youthful and dynamic appearance.

● PEUGEOT brand’s new logo emblem integrated elegantly across various elements, embodying modernity and strength.

● A boldly designed front bumper extending outward, adding character, and sturdy roof rails enhancing sportiness and versatility.

Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, new Evissa 18-inch wheels for the GT variant and Karakoy 17-inch wheels for the Premium variant, replacing the previous Salamanca design. The rear of the vehicle sports horizontal LED taillights, a refined PEUGEOT logo, and a squarely designed rear bumper for a bold and commanding presence.

The interior is elevated by PEUGEOT’s intuitive i-Cockpit®, a 10-inch central screen, and the brand’s new steering wheel logo. The GT variant features high-end upgrades like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless charging, and massage and heated driver’s seat options.
